Date: September 18th 2006
Place: Luton, University of Bedfordshire, Vicarage Street building, fourth floor, corridor in front of room J408.
Back from holiday.
I am staring at the drawing on the message board on my office door.
Clearly, the anonymous graffiti artist knows me.
Although the likeness is not perfect (e.g. I do not often wear a crown), there is a hint of a beard and a moustache.
I admit that the portrait made me feel mildly flattered, despite the rather mean look.
But who WANTED me anyway, and why?
Of course, there is no conclusive evidence that these two drawings and text are the work of the same person.
In fact there are obvious indications that the second contribution is the work of at least two people.
(If you are an expert in graphology, maybe you could help me with these puzzles.)
Information from a reliable source (whose identity I am not at liberty to disclose) indicates that similar graffiti style messages had been left on several consecutive days while I was on holiday.
My informer would regularly wipe the board clean (destroying valuable evidence!), but new drawings and text would appear the following morning.
Will they leave any clues about their identity?
To be continued…
Date: August 20th 2006
Time: late morning
Place: North London
I went out of the house, walked up the street, looked across the road and thought there was something odd about the parking arrangements. I admit it took me a few seconds to work out what it was.
Date: November 9th 2006
Place: Message board on my office door
New ‘graffiti’ appeared on my message board. This time I am more curious about the inspiration for the drawings and the meaning. Any thoughts?
